Genmaicha (玄米茶) is a popular tea blend that originated in Japan. The gentle, nutty sweetness of puffed rice combines with herbaceous aromas from the green tea leaves to produce a full finish that is smooth, savory, and refreshing. Genmaicha can be enjoyed hot or cold, and often makes a wonderful match with sushi and other Japanese food.
